What in his reaction is ban worthy? He ran from where he had been shoved in the crowd towards Holgate, and when the ref got in the way he did not touch thef and threw verbals at Holgate.

Holgate is the one the shoved another player into the crowd, the one who physically touched the ref, and the one who had to be physically restrained.

I did wonder if this is why Holgate wasn't carded. The video knocking about seems to shoe him telling the ref that something was said. It would look very bad if he got sent off(for pushing and grabbing the ref) and he was reacting to something like that. Think it contributed to the ref bottling the decision.

Well that is dubious as it opens the door to a get out of jail free card to avoid being sent off.

Again I will ask you what exactly in his reaction do you think is ban worthy? As in what in that reaction looks to have broken the rules of the game as to be worthy of a ban?


With Holgate it is easy to say what he did that was against the rules of the game, and I already did, so would like to hear what exactly you think Firmino did that is potentially worth a ban.

Watched it with a blue and he saw nothing wrong with Firminos res took but said Holgate should at least have been booked

I would have. And I think most would. Holgate is lucky he didn't get his teeth smashed down his throat. There's a shove, and there's *a shove*. I think there's a rule about endangering a players' safety, and that definitely fell under that imo.
