He's having a great season, but he was really patchy for a while. He's playing at a completely different level to back then, I don't think Brendan knew what to do with him

Ok - genuine question - do you think we would be a better side with Aubameyang as our striker? eg
        Mane Firmino Salah
        Aubameyang
        Another MASSIVE game

I would prefer to keep Firminho where he is but add another Fekir/Lemar type player behind.

Wanting a striker and Firmino being brilliant are not mutually exclusive opinions. If anything he needs back up better than Solanke and Ings. Once we get rid of Sturridge permanently I expect we will address that. **** knows what window mind you.

              Fair enough

Just my opinion - Firmino does well when the team does well. A top class striker would help us unlock tight defences (I've yet to see Firmino do that).

The fact that some Liverpool fans are content with just having a player/striker of the calibre of Firmino (i.e. don't think we need to aim higher) worries me. But I think it's a fair reflection of where we currently stand as a club i.e. content with being on the fringes.

Do you not think Firmino is that good then? I think when you look at his overall contribution to the team and the space he creates for others he is a vital cog and not sure we would get those benefits by bringing in a pure goalscorer, DO agree our back up should be better though!!

Although, Spurs have Llorente.....Chelsea wanted Caroll Arsenal did have Wellbeck so plenty other teams dont have top level back up players.

He's weirdly obsessed with slagging Firmino off.

He’s good. He’s also shown consistency this season. I’d play him behind a top class striker ie it’s the position not the player. My view is we’re a great attacking side - imagine how many goals a proper striker would have scored.

He likes to float, sometimes drops deep. He’s a bit like Sheringham or Yorke. Play him behind a striker.
