Pleased for you mate, hope things start looking up.Aye, she’s responsible for the deccies. Been together a year so not that long but she’s a keeper. Lost my Mum and Auntie in the last year plus Dad’s been diagnosed with mixed dementia- same as Mum died of, so time for a leap of faith. Am ****in 45 next year FFS
I’m backing Bobby to bag tomorrow, about time he clicked- it’ll single handedly take us to the next level. Weird thing to say really in the circumstances. Can see him shining in the WCC or whatever it’s called too. Bit more space for him there.
Thanks very much for beingComment

There was an article before the Palace game saying that he basically starts every season scoring, goes on a dry spell after that, then picks up again after the November Internationals.
Poor Palace were always gonna get it.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?Comment

As much as we all appreciate the build up play and how bobby keeps the ball moving around the front olayers he really isn't the goal scorer we need.
Ideally id love to see him in the 8 role and a more clinical striker in front of him.
Vardy at Leicester is lethal, but maybe not the lad for us. Maybe we will empty the piggy banks and go balls deep for Mbappe.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.Comment

This has been discussed at length in the previous 95 pages but Bobby playing up top and dropping into the pockets creates the space so that Mane and Mo can score the goals. As they go narrow it enables our full backs to push further up. He is not a Vardy type but absolutely vital to how we play and critical to our superb form for over two years. It's the same reason that Wijnaldum doesn't score the goals he does at international level. Every player has a specific role to play on the pitch which has been coached so it is 2nd nature to them, there is no role for an out and out striker. As much as we all appreciate the build up play and how bobby keeps the ball moving around the front olayers he really isn't the goal scorer we need.

Good answer, and i do understand how his movement creates space for others etc. This has been discussed at length in the previous 95 pages but Bobby playing up top and dropping into the pockets creates the space so that Mane and Mo can score the goals. I think that with an additional 'striker' who is also mobile and not an 'old fashioned goal hanging number 9' we'd then have two playing as advanced midfielders when we dont have the ball and would add to our pressing.
When we win the ball one if them would go more central to create a better goal threat but also to also draw defenders and make space for the others to swarm in.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
