    Is that really off??? Their keepers in our bloody half ffs!!
    Absolutely ****house from Benteke though. He's not good is he. Origi looks stronger, faster and far more technically gifted. What sort of ****ing striker doesn't shoot when he has a wide open goal with the keeper chasing shadows? Disgraceful.

      It's madness. He didn't back himself to score into an open goal from 40 yards. What sort of a pro is he? Crazy stuff. It was offside though, all 4 of them were off when the pass was played, something missed by pretty much everyone including the ref and linos

          Probably because the idea that you're offside if their keeper decides to go up for a corner and gets caught on the break is preposterous. If that's the rule then keepers should go for corners a lot more than they do!

            Not really as if anyone holds their run to be in their own half when the ball is played they are onside.

              That's a ridiculous rule though. If the keeper goes up for the ball (as in a corner at their end or ours ) it should count IMO.

                The keeper isn't special in the offside rule - it's the second last player of the defending team that determines the offside line. I don't think it has ever been different.

                    True. But he's just looking so off kilter to everyone else in the side. It's a real worry. Origi looks miles better. Stronger, faster and better linking up play.

                        god, i seriously hopes he improves on his positioning, there were a number of times when he strayed into an offside position and a number of times he didn't and wouldn't make a run into the box when the crosses kept flying in, reminded me of ala crouch sometimes when he doesn't use his strengths enough...if origi is fit, he should start ahead of benteke....

                          Winner against the League leaders will do me.

                          Also same against Bournemouth and should of been against Soton at home.

                          Definitely showing his worth when we can't rely on Sturridge, certain games he needs to start and others on the bench.

                            More of a goal threat than anyone in our squad other than Sturridge.

                            Doesn't matter how many openings you create, there's a reason goal scorers come at a premium. No doubts he can be effective with good supply, but I also think there's more others can do to get in and around him.

                                I think he's a decent if not very good striker who just isn't suited to us at all. Klopp seems to have figured this out pretty quickly. He'll be gone in the summer, let's hope he can chip in 15 or so while he's here.
