I can't remember which game I said I thought he was being made a scapegoat, but the very recent criticisms of him have been more than justified.
He's a very good Plan B, but his lack of movement is doing my head in. It's intelligence to make short bursts to open and create space, or to become an option. He doesn't do any of it enough.Comment

I think the comparison with Heskey is a fair one, trouble is he doesn't have a Michael Owen playing off him. He's a big disappointment. I never thought he would fit in particularly well with our playing style, but I thought he would offer much more than he has.Comment
