He should know he's in an offside position, if he doesn't touch the ball the ball runs away down the touchline and West Ham have the ball deep in their own half and have to play their way out. By playing the ball he gives away the freekick which allows all their players to go forward and score. It shows he has little awareness of the situation, at best he is naive.

Benteke's Liverpool future in doubt

Christian Benteke could leave Liverpool ALREADY, according to the Bleacher Report.

The former Aston Villa striker only moved to Anfield in the summer but does not appear to fit into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

Benteke has largely been reduced to a substitute since the German took over and now it has been reported that he could walk away from the club at the end of the season.

He will reportedly consider his options after representing Belgium at Euro 2016.
