I think he's ****ing rubbish and seeing what a mobile grafting Origi and a fitter more dynamic sturridge do in the team merely confirms that.

But if origi is out he'll get a few chances to miss some more absolute sitters by the time the seasons finished

Nearing full fitness again... Does anyone think he should be given a chance in the new, rejuvenated Liverpool? Considering how well our overall game is functioning at the moment, Milner's sublime crossing, Origi injured for a while... Maybe all this will rub off on him, yes he was **** but we all know he can be unplayable when he actually tries Or do you think that this recent form is a result of his absence?

I think our recent form is due to his absence (or more accurately the presence of forwards willing to stretch the game and run/move intelligently up front). However, the Newcastle game is one I would be willing to throw him in to protect Sturridge and give him a chance to increase his value.

I don't think it is a concious effort problem. just he doesn't see the opportunities quickly and then they go. He's too slow of mind to be a top player. The exact opposite of what we've seen lately from Sturridge and Origi. He could still score against Newcastle though.

It's all down to how much game time the manager thinks Sturridge can manage, the Europa league semi-finals have to be a priority. If Sturridge can handle 90min twice in a week great, if not we should put someone else in against Newcastle and keep him fit for Europe.

Personally if Sturridge is out I would push Firmino upfront and stick Ojo in the side, to keep the team playing the same way and keep a rhythm going with the way we play.

I do't think Benteke will be fit for the weekend anyway.
