I’ve read some absolute nonsense in the match thread, but this surely is our winner.

He’s scored 9 goals in 17 matches this year, joint second highest scorer in the league, 1 off the lead and you are running out of patience with him?

I think he did ok for us last year too.

Missed the match completely but gather it was a bad one. But in all fairness PSG are bloody good side in bloody good form at home. Don't think this was at all unexpected tbh.

We have a final game at Anfield now, let's see where that takes us.

We really need to get Fabinho and Keita up to speed, but I feel this is going similar as last season really, we were not clicking until late November, early December, hopefully we'll do the same now. If we can iron out our faults the team will be excellent.

Don't agree with us losing to quality teams either, we have played the best teams in the league and not lost.

The attitude of a lot of our fans (not necessarily you Maxiedge) given what a great start to the season we've had already is pretty baffling to me.

What more do people expect? PSG away is one of the hardest matches in European football FFS.

But then again, this is an example of him getting a free pass as he's our best player. I just think the midfield will always have a job on their hands when someone gives the ball away so frequently. He's clearly one of our best players (if not the best). He clearly deserves to start. He's clearly one of our biggest goal threats. He's going to give the ball away because he has to take some risks.

Totally baffled by any suggestions he needs a "free pass". It's ridiculous.

At the end of the day, losing away to PSG is not a great surprise. We're in this situation due to even poorer games away to especially Belgrade and Napoli. That's when the damage was done.

We're being done in Europe mostly because the quality is higher than the Premier league.

Also, our passing in decisive situations could be better. We had their defence opened a few times last night but ****ed the final pass *Robertson, Bobby and Mo comes to mind.

Well I personally expect Mo Salah to have better touch, more pace and contrivute more to the performance last night, and that's based on having seen him play before. Which I think was the point. Not sure why you're jumping to general comments about dummies being thrown or the record of PSG.

They were sooooo up for it too. I honestly haven't seen PSG that up for a game before. We caught them at their best, especially in that first 20 minutes. In a funny way it's actually to our credit that we didn't let the game get away from us. It could have been 3-0 inside 20 minutes.

I understand the frustration as I'm guilty of this as well.

I think we're in a phase where we are trying to be more solid while keeping our potency in attack, so it's not clicking as of yet. It's obvious by watching at our games in the Premier league that we have some issues despite doing well.

Our best game of the season for me was against City where we demonstrated a lot of potential in our all round game and the team which played that night was exactly the team we played last night, but tactically it was a different game.

I think we should slightly lower our expectations and hope for a very good domestic run and the team to get better and better, which I'm sure it will.

Well, personally, I thought we could have beaten them even at 2-1 but we have so many players blowing hot and cold at the moment. Would be good to eventually get that high level of consistency going. Klopp taking off Firmino with 20 mins to go says it all really and what he expects from his players.

For 20 minutes I thought that they would blitz us. We did better in the second half but we couldn't find a way past their defence.
