A perfect fit

A statue outside Anfield is just a matter of time.
To think how irredeemably **** we were when he arrived, to then go and win the lot within 4 or 5 years is just mindblowing. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

There was an article some time ago comparing managers career trajectories. Basically most "great" modern managers have one miracle season with an underdog club and then they take up relatively safer jobs where it is easy to pad up their resume with trophies - Bayern, Juve, Inter, Barcelona, Real.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

Two managers who broke that trend - Rafa and Klopp.
The greatness of Klopp is he has led two underdog teams in two top European leagues to league wins. And that is before the exhilarating football, the connection, the leadership, the empathy he generates.
His stats or trophy count will never reach Mourinho or Sacchi or Pep due to the risks regarding the type of job he takes.
Without a doubt, he is an all-time great. Statue awaits.
