It's what makes me wonder if he's had enough of living in a foreign land. His family means more to him than anything else and the press etc over here have been out for him. Basically, does he need the grief?

Plus, I would've thought the love he must've felt from the fans kept him going, without that it's slightly less rewarding.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I heard his mother died in January but the news was released this week. Who to believe?
        Are we winning?

He's just sick and tired of the season. It's bloody awful. Worst refereeing in memory, no crowds... everyone knows it deep down inside but the broadcasters want to gaslight us into thinking everything's fine. I couldn't be arsed watching other games even when we were flying. It's just not the same spectacle anymore.

Aside from Klopp's personal grievance, this season is not made for a man of his stature. He's about the energy, the noise, the crowd.

**** the season off Kloppo and play Alisson upfront

Klopp is the most important person at the club. I’d rather replace every out field player than him leave. I really wish we were in the stadium at times like this and we could show him what he means

Don't think anyone is disputing this. He still had to grieve and then the funeral to follow that he missed. With it coming out publicly it won't be any easier.

Klopp not the type to walk but does need a break to grieve, a couple of weeks at least.

The team really need to step and make life easier for him. Start winning and help, support the boss in this tough time. Especially after all he's done for them.

He's odds on to be the next manager to leave. Must be money piling in for it.

Pretty sure those markets are easily swung by small bets or a spike in volume. A few punters reacting to twitter could be the reason.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Am thinking of the Kenny situation too (I know this isn't as bad as that) but he's always said he just needed a bit of time off, instead of having to quit completely. It would be completely understandable for Klopp to take a few weeks off now...other fans will take the piss obviously but who ****ing cares.

With regards to the fans too, I remember Rafa walking off after we lost an away game on a really bad run of form. The fan base was split massively by then and on the web, social media, phone-ins people baying for his sacking....but as he walked off past our fans at the match he got a MASSIVE standing ovation - to a man.

You could see it meant the ****ing world to him - am just devastated with all the on field **** going and his personal loss Klopp can't experience that, after all he's done for and the bond he's built with us

If Klopp needs time, then he should be allowed a few weeks or even the rest of the season if that is what he needed.

If it was the difference between him getting a decent bit of time to grieve and reflect or him having to quit to get that time, then giving him the time he needs is a no brainer for me.

Let Pep take the reins until the end of the season. Be a way to judge what he could do. Or if Rafa is free and available, give him a four or five month stint as cover.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

                                I'd be happy with that
