Gutting. He does look ****ing tired to be fair. Hope we can win the league for him, my fear is the team drop off now it's been announced.

Strange all the back room team are off. That isn't going to mean a smooth transition. It's a complete upheaval.

Absolutely gutted, it's really saddened me this. I wonder if he's unwell?

Devastating news, feels numb. Can’t even begin to think who could come in and be anywhere near as good. You’d also fear an exodus of top players too.

Hope he enjoys his retirement, and thanks for all the memories Jurgen! Let's have one more big push this season, send him out on a high!

The end of this season is going to be epic and very emotional. Most enjoyable period of supporting the team in my lifetime.

We’ve seen how hard it is to replace legacy’s at Arsenal and Utd, who ever steps in has a moaning task of replacing one of the all time personalities in football.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

He's lasted longer than most at the very top of the game.

Managers like Ferguson and Wenger are outliers. Very rarely do managers last longer than a handful of years at a Premier League club.

“It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again."

Best manager I'll have at the club in my lifetime, probably.

Xabi, top of the list for me.
