    "Unwelcome Steven Caulker".

Seems a sensible move given our current situation.

      Welcome Steven
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Uhm, did not see that one coming. Ah well, welcome to the club - I hope Klopp can get the best out of you and then about 30-40 % more

The loan makes sense for us in our situation, we could do a lot worse in January than a player experienced with the league and players in it for a cheap price. And we needed the extra guy in there!

He was probably given a list of local defenders available for loan and just went with one since our entire team is broken. The serious buys will be in july.

I suspect Klopp will just tell him to play a simple game, much as what he's done for Lovren.

If Caulker can eradicate the mistakes from his game and just perform the basics then he should do alright for us.

in reality, i have never seen someone as ****e as Lovren play for LFC. Klopp took Lovren and made him into an average / solid squad member at least. If he could do the same with Caulker, then everyone is a winner.

You haven't seen anyone worse? Worse than Torben Picknik, Sean Dundee, Phil Babb?

                    He's a central defender mate
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

should have added "in the flesh"

Joe Cole v Swansea in the League Cup (lost 3-0 at home) is the single worst performance I have ever seen from a Liverpool player

for me it was Lovren v West Ham at home this season.

There was a Momo Sissoko one as well where he was ****er than ****e.....i think he was half blind at the time though....

I know but I meant it would be nice to think we might have a defender turning out for us who could get on the end of set pieces Hypia style.

He was Cardiff's 3rd highest scorer in 13/15 with 5 of their 32 goals and has a 1 in 1 ratio for England (), so he definitely has goals in his locker when on form.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yes those are the highlights according to wiki - the barren seasons are considerably more frequent
