Is he capable of leading a backline? Because we really need someone who is and if he isn't we really need to bring someone else in as well.
Also it will be interesting to see what happens with the CBs in the summer. Seemingly Toure is off but that still would leave us with Sakho, Lovren, Skrtel, Gomez, Ilori, Wisdom left on the books and Matip when he comes in, making 7 if no-one else moves on. Even if you consider Gomez and Wisdom as cover at fullback rather than CB, you would imagine that we could easily move one of the others on. I think one of Skrtel or Lovren could be moved on and I'd be surprised if both of Wisdom and Ilori are still here in a year.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment
