You're right in your assumption - I've never seen Matip play - but you're wrong in that I don't want people to post observations or pass comment on players. It tickled me that you missed Skrtel's positional flaws in a team we watch regularly yet you've seen it already in Matip by watching the odd game.

It is, however, getting difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. I'm sure many a poster wants to read an informed opinion on a new player and I'm sure a few linked scouting reports along with the YouTube compilation are appreciated. If you insist on making bold statements like:

Perhaps you should quantify these statements by saying in the handful of times you've seen Matip he's made a mistake and according to scouting reports, he was useful at DM.

Or perhaps you should judge him first hand with us, see how he plays in competitive football and how he performs in Klopp's system.

A person can only make observations on a player from the amount of times they've watched him play. I usually watch all these obscure players on www.makeyuppy.com

I've mentioned it was double figures, maybe next time to be more specific i'll jot it down on a piece of paper each game just to satisfy pedantic jibes. If we are linked with a player that is not well known and i've seen him play a few times or whatever, which is nowhere near enough to make an informed opinion on any player, i'll have a look around the net and if there are some scouting reports on a player to see if my opinions are in line with what more informed people are saying. If it is ok and if it is not, well then I clearly need to look at him play more.

Who's judging anyone? I made an observation, let's not exaggerate that to suit your rhetoric. Truth is you were trying to take the piss bringing Skrtel into it and there's nothing wrong with a bit of wumming but don't back track and try go all democratic on us Muds
