My mates got talking to some Dortmund fans when they played us. Asked about Matip they pretended to spit on the floor, as he played for their rivals. After which they said that he was a great player - strong in the air, intelligent in his play. They were glad he was leaving Schalke and thought he'd do well in the premiership. Sounds like a good recommendation from people who've seen him play regularly. Time will tell whether they were right.
