Decent game and I suppose you cannot only play who's infront of you. Burton were pretty abysmal but nice for Matip to get a good performance in there at CB, **** knows we need a few of them.

He'll be our number one centre-back eventually. It's just a question of who plays alongside him.

He looks very classy. Hopefully him, Lovren with Can infront can get a run going together and see how they go. Even if Spurs beat us 15-0, no ****ing around, give them a run! Then they can be split up just as they look great together and one or two get injured. Lovren, Sakho and Can looked the bizz and conceded under a goal per game together so hopefully this is similar. Karius can strengthen it even more when he's back!

Great game from him today. Very comfortable with the ball, in the air. Just brought a sense of calm to proceedings.

From what I saw last season, he'll look like he'll get a good few goals but actually he'll score hardly any

Hopefully those ahead of him understand that he likes to play an early ball into the channels, he sprayed one or two early on but no one read the intention. Could be a good outlet for the side.
