    I know the games come thick and fast but in reality the fact that we play on the Friday night before xmas as opposed to the Saturday helps us too. Klopp should book 5 days in Dubai for a handful of our first teamers for the Friday after the Man City game. VVD, Robbo, Milner, Bobby, Mo and Sadio could probably all do with a chill out sesh. Could be good for team bonding as well.

    This is the best team / squad I can remember LFC having in a long time. We have a good chance of having a good season. But I also think that if VVD is out for any sort of period, then we are ****ed. Alisson too. They are our two most important players right now.

            Koulibaly is excellent, I'd love him at Liverpool but it would stunt Gomez's development which has been nothing short of transformative this season.

              Very unlikely we'll be buying an 80m WC just because we've been unlucky to have two CBs out for 6ish weeks.

              Sadly the full back position is now specialised and you don't get many FB/CBs these days like Carragher.

                That young Dutch kid in our reserves can play both, so in about three years we'll have it sorted.

                  I'd love him too, imagine the defense with them two and Gomez rotating with them and Alisson in goal, would be awesome.

                  I do hope that Klopp is getting used to spending money on quality though, going big is really changing a lot for us and taking the team to the next level.

                    I'd maybe change my opinion if I analysed his defending on a rerun, but as it stands it was great watching Matip marauding forward yesterday.

                    Good to have him back as an option.

                      I don't think he's done that enough for us although maybe his lay offs haven't helped.

                      Watching him play in Germany it was the most impressive feature of his game.

                          Be a massive bonus if we could somehow keep him fit for the remainder of teh season.

                              That near post recovery tackle was excellent and he showed some strength on several occasions. Perhaps this is the form that prompted us to buy him?
