The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

No. He's returned to training. I don't know if he's available or not though.

      Trent had a scan yesterday.

Pearce said so himself, or did I misread?

As long as Virgil is okay then we will be fine. You could put Stephen ****in Hawking (before he passed) next to him and we'd be ok.

I know the games come thick and fast but in reality the fact that we play on the Friday night before xmas as opposed to the Saturday helps us too. Klopp should book 5 days in Dubai for a handful of our first teamers for the Friday after the Man City game. VVD, Robbo, Milner, Bobby, Mo and Sadio could probably all do with a chill out sesh. Could be good for team bonding as well.

This is the best team / squad I can remember LFC having in a long time. We have a good chance of having a good season. But I also think that if VVD is out for any sort of period, then we are ****ed. Alisson too. They are our two most important players right now.

This? Yeah, supposedly he has been carrying something but has returned to training. How close he is to the first team I've no idea but i could see Fabinho covering at some stage myself.

              It'll be Millie

And that'll be fine, he knows what's required, is trust him in goal over Mig and Karius

I'd have Fabino training CB every day now. Get him used to it and he should be a decent enough deputy to Lovren until either of Matip or Gomez are back.

It's definitely the time of the year when the squad comes into play though!

How are City getting on injury-wise? We seem to have been hammered with them lately.

Stones, Jesus and Silva are injured now.

We have seven players on the injury list (six of them English) https://www.physioroom.com/news/engl...jury_table.php

City have nine and United 8
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I heard (or misheard) on the radio yesterday that players who have played in this season's CL can change clubs in the window and still be eligible. Have I got this wrong?

Ah ok so I didn't mishear - thanks.

So is it now time to scoop up a decent defender from one of the knocked out teams to provide cover?

Just looked at that, thanks. City's are nearly all very short term injuries though.

How well the two of us deal with our injuries will probably decide the title to be honest.
