Vvd plus any one from three (matip, lovren or gomez) looks great.

But if virge was out then who could we really trust. Scary ****...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Throw Karius into the mix, and suddenly it's 2017

I thought the first leg against Bayern demonstrated that we could trust Matip and Fabinho?

Good point, forgot about fab painting over the cracks for us

Not that we want him anywhere else but in our midfield.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Still not getting enough credit imo. He's been consistently excellent.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Gets unfair criticism because he just looks a bit ungainly.

One of these days one of his mazy runs forward is going to result in a goal.

Hope we keep him, him stepping up like that has been crucial for us.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan of those runs which seem to end in him losing the ball everytime but it is progressive if he just passed it after going by the 4th man! It's good to push out from defence like that to a point.

He has been more aggressive which is the thing we all wanted. He was caught a few times vs Chelsea but he had a good game. Once he keeps fit he can be a good asset to us. One thing I would say is that I expected him to score more headers, huge guy and needs to pose a Vvd threat.

Another quality performance from Matip. Absolutely dominant at the back, and bringing the ball out too.

Godtip Was excellent defensively and started some of the moves which led to good chances like Bobby's sitter.

Yeah I wonder if this is the longest uninjured run he’s had with us? Certainly is with VVD as his partner. He’s been quality this season no doubt about it.

This is the Matip we bought from Germany. No wonder he was voted for a best player award.

                              From the BBC

Liverpool are unbeaten in the 21 Premier League games when Matip has played this season, averaging only 0.7 goals conceded per game in this period.
                              Oh I don't know.
