Hopefully Matip can come back in, play a blinder against City and then he has 2 weeks to recover for the next one.

Fabinho will be back by then too.

Credit to Matip coming straight back in and doing well. He seems to have done that so much for us, coming straight back in and playing 90 mins after weeks or months out injured. Nice to have him back anyways and everyone should say a lil prayer so that by some miracle he stays fit.

Big Joel was excellent yesterday. A very consistently good performer when fit.

and solid and reliable CB when fit alright which makes it that more frustrating when he is constantly injured. Guy needs some luck.

He's great isn't he. Bizarrely underrated by others. Get laughed at by United fans when you tell them he's better than Maguire - which he is, by a mile.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                    WTF

I know we're all tribal but that isn't even an argument.

I've no idea where to go for quick stats but I suspect the number of goals we've concede with him in the team is the square root of **** all.

He'd be in the top 10 in world football if he could stay fit like VVD.

Have you noticed, we don't tend to lose with Matip in the team? He reminds of of Ledley King in a way and maybe even our own Agger. When he plays, there's an air of invincibility about us. There was even talk of him being better than Virgil start of last season!
