I don't think it's so much club tribalism as national tribalism Maguire is only so highly rated because he's English, if he was any other nationality the pundits would be ripping him an new one rather than highlighting every vaguely positive thing he does. I still find it hilarious that Man Utd paid £80m for him Matip was a free transfer and I would take him over Maguire everytime.

brilliant CB. Such an understated style of play too. If he could stay fit, you are looking at one of the best CB's in the world. Unfortunately we are just waiting for him to break.
