Not sure that is true considering he was one of the nominated players for the Balon D'Or so the wider footballing world appreciate him. Unfortunately, the underappreciation stems from his own fans who get frustrated that he doesn't play like he does with the Netherlands failing to understand that he is carrying out Klopp's instructions perfectly.
