We are all grown men in our 40s/50s cheering on people kicking a ball around. Its all a bit pantomime

The way he dragged it out when it was clear he was going took the piss out of the fans, especially when he was giving it the big "im a scouser"
If he was honest and said he wasn't going to stay and wanted a new challenge a year earlier then no one would have been arsed.
It was clear he was spooning with Bellingham and wanted to rub sun tan cream on to each other, but the lack of honesty is what sticks in the throat.
As Paddy the Baddy says, he's a rat.
“A Lack of honesty is what sticks in the throat”? Spare us the faux betrayal , you’ve had some weird dislike for him way before any of the contract stuff happened. Your subsequent fixation with him and Bellingham is also very strange.

Homegrown, vice-captain, talking about dreams of captaining the club, leaving for free after at least 18 months of contract negotiations, after rejecting a 6 year deal in favour of a 4 deal in 2021? Yeah, he can lie in his bed and take everything that comes his way.

Luis Diaz wanted to leave and did so, I miss him on the left but respect his decision, like I can respect's TAA's wishes to leave, but the way he did was ****.

The final coupe de grace is him having to watch Connor Bradley totally dominating in the rb position, we dont miss him one bit.

    Massively disappointed in you tbh.

Glad he was booed, would've joined in but the missus would've sussed me for sure.
