I'm going to disagree on this one. I think the booing was massively disrespectful but I can also see why it's pissed people off, especially those from the City. I was annoyed he'd moved of course but he won a lot with us and I think the booing is a bit extreme.

I wasn't annoyed that he was leaving or not signing.
The way he dragged it out when it was clear he was going took the piss out of the fans, especially when he was giving it the big "im a scouser"
If he was honest and said he wasn't going to stay and wanted a new challenge a year earlier then no one would have been arsed.
It was clear he was spooning with Bellingham and wanted to rub sun tan cream on to each other, but the lack of honesty is what sticks in the throat.
