How he reacts to it is what matters.

Gerrard used to have a face like a smacked arse on a regular basis whenever he got subbed off.

TAA on the other hand has made a bit of a show of himself once and whilst the after the final whistle bit is what would grate with me, if he say sorry behind the scenes and then knuckles down in the coming games then it is just a storm in a tea cup.

If it is the first of a number of mardy moments that's a different matter, but right now he has only done it once.

I wasn’t defending his actions, just saying it’s pretty laughable how some people can decide a persons entire character from the glimpses they get to see.

100 pct but that’s the internet and also society in general nowadays.

Sturridge also copped a lot of accusations of having a bad attitude for ostensibly no reason other than perhaps he was open about having other interests outside of just football and he appeared to be a flamboyant character

'Some people' don't appreciate Trent making it all about him, when it's so important under the new manager to have a positive start with no drama. He knows there's a million cameras and this **** will be picked up. So instead of talking about the team performance and the result, we are now talking about Trents attitude and a potential issue between him and the new manager, right before a massive fixture that usually ****s us.

I wouldn't mind but he was taken off for the last 18 mins when we were 2 nil up which was done and dusted and where other lads need mind. it stinks of petulance and arrogance. I'm sure it will be boxed off behind the scenes and Slot will fob it off as a nothing burger when asked about it but it's a completely unnecessary action that an already under pressure manager does not need.

Yeah, as I wasn’t disputing that he was in the wrong, none of this addresses the point I was actually making.

I’m not going to repeat myself as it’s boring AF so let’s just leave it.

Yep, hard to disagree with that. Most telling clip I saw was that he clocked Slot approaching and sat up straighter but gave him daggers. Really petulant

We don’t need a rotten egg like that stinking the dressing room out. If he doesn’t want to play for the club then get rid asap. Id doubt he would last 12 months in Madrid, they like their RBs able to defend as a foundation and certainly won’t have the luxury of playing a hybrid role there neither.

I think the main issue is you don’t want to be doing this crap for the managers first home game! If it happened under Klopp last season wouldn’t be a big deal/story. But the fact that it’s a new manager, the story writes itself that there’s tension between the manager and one of our star players. He’s already under enough scrutiny, he doesn’t need it and the club/team doesn’t need it.

When you add in that he was brought off after going 2-0 up, I don’t get what he was thinking. It’s not like the quansah sub the week before. Also even if he had cooled down by full time, we’d all be dismissing it, but the fact he was still in a crap mood isn’t a good look.
                      I don't tip

Nor helping Gareth Southgate’s legacy. Trent on the verge of being the Glen Hoddle (football wise) of his generation. You’ve got to get him in the team.
