I just don't see FSG spending the money required to replace all 3 if that's where it all ends up.

We would have no chioice. We need a new CB anyway.

We only have Bradley at RB, who is injured a lot

And we have nobody that replaces Salah (unless you regard Chiesa as such... Maybe Elliott who he doesnt seem to rate).

I know this is on top of a new LB, and a new striker, and 2 new midielders.

We might be able to sell Nunez, Jota, Chiesa, Endo, Elliott, Timmy to fund some of this.

Fells like next season will be tough if we dont resign VVD. That is a massive one. IOfeel like you can spread goals around, and we do create a lot of chances. Being tight at the back is much tougher imho.

He would have played a part in any title win and many, if not all, of his teammates would probably want him there.

Wouldnt be too surprised if madrid asked him to run out his contract and instead of them having to pay 70-80mill or whatever in a normal sale, they can just give him half of that as an incentive. Real are very good at tapping up players to sign on a free. It's a winning club with great facilities. And yeah, a £40 sweetner works for anyone and also the club.

It's a smart way to get players in, i don't know why more clubs don't do it.
