Leaving on a free is an absolute cunts trick and look forward to hearing the whistles when he starts dozing off at the back post and costing Madrid goals

Very different player, but, whether it is Frimpong or someone else, different is not necessarily a negative.

Slot may well favour a mix of directness and control on the right flank going forward and if TAA leaves, then Slot gets a clean slate upon which to create his own set up.

As said in other posts, even if it is Frimpong we may well not play Frimpong at RB and instead use him as a winger or pair him with a RM that has a high workrate and go with a more central creative force at AM instead of it being our RW as we have done for years now.

As far as TAA goes, he has honoured his contract whether we as supporters like it or not. Same goes for the club in relation to TAA.

Biggest thing now is for players, supporters etc to get a collective mindset going with regards to the title race. Trying to win the title is bigger than any of the players that might leave.

It's ****e as he is a local lad, however as long as it does not get toxic in the ground (which I doubt. The toxic stuff tends to be online) and he gives his all if/when he gets minutes before this season ends, then so be it.

Be easier to "get" why he might be leaving if he was not local but I guess the bigger wages and better weather arguement applies to him as easily as any other player in terms of being reasons why he wants a move away.

We will not replace him in a like for like manner (same with Salah on that right flank) but some smart recruitment should see us able to bring in real quality and make up what we lose in TAA through other players bringing something different to the set up.
Exactly - players come and go, even local players. TAA will be a big loss for sure, as his is a super unusual skill set.

I'm confident that there will be solutions, even if not like for like as you've said, Jaco

We used to have a joke down south…. If it was ever legalised (which it is now) there would be a 9 month waiting list for abortion…

    Pros and cons I suppose.
