Well his level will either rise to Real Madrid or sink to Real Valladolid.

Yep, he’s a very decent defender, when he bothers to be.

Slot called out his effort levels at times, Alonso has done so already.

Maybe Klopp coddled him a bit too much.

A little unfair. Jan was a superb passer of the ball. Better than Trent.

    Xabi Alonso on TAA debut:

"Trent’s a very talented player, but at this level, talent alone isn’t enough. He needs to work harder physically and be more consistent, especially defensively. He has to meet the standards set for fitness, discipline, and effort." #LFC #YNWA #EPL

was slow, Out of position, Aside from his fancy passing he's a very poor defender with zero concentration levels and poor awareness, He'll get destroyed when La Liga starts

My fear was that he was strolling around the pitch for us for the last two years because he knew he was going to RM. However having watched the game last night, he proved me wrong.

He won’t get the support he did here being a local lad . They’ll turn on him big time.

Let's face it, he wouldn't be doing what he's doing if his brother wasn't Trent 12
