He is after a new contract so he cn then relax with the physio team again, or so he can fluff any prospective buyers.
I see he's been moonlighting for we buy any car

That's the key for me, we need to be improving the squad and midfield in particular which is something we haven't done in recent years, if we are saying we should be giving Keita a new contract because he'll be a starter next season then we are doing something wrong. If he is a starter for the rest of this season fair enough but going forward we need better players who are more reliable.

Or, and bear with me here as this is a bit crazy, we could just lose Chamberlain, Milner and Keita and instead bring in two or three midfielders instead.

I agree that Keita when fit is good enough to be a starter, but how often is he fit and how often when he is fit does Klopp just not include him?

Get three younger mobile midfielders in early in the summer. Feed them raw meat during pre season then sic them on the rest of the league come August.

Well I'm certain it was not me as Souness is my all time fave LFC midfielder and to this day I think he is the best all round CM we have had.

I bet Paul Ince wished someone called him the Black Souness though.

It was based on the pre-Liverpool keita that looks so good in Germany.

you can see why AOC was brought in, english player with experience in a top side in a contract situation at another club, it may be worth taking a punt on a number for the squad in an inflated homegrown market when something like that comes along. maybe not everyone's idea of a great signing but not devoid of logic.

Good times, a genuine disaster signing.
...wonder what his wages per game equates to?

Can't be far short of Winston Bogarde's record of 9 games in four years on £40k/week for the Chavs.
