He has also just said he still hasn't shown his best form because of injuries and stop start playing. Crazy after nearly four years here. Hopefully he doesn't leave now he is doing the business.

Most of his development time in his late teens/early 20s were in France and Austria before his break out seasons in Germany. Do not think he has spent much time on "farmland" pitches throughout his career.
