Its obvious we need an number 8 with so much more than Henderson/Keita but not sure lashing out at them helps.

My concern Klopp will want to leave room for Jones/Elliott to progress rather than bring someone else in until Ox/Milner have left.

Agreed… didn’t think I was lashing out though? As I said they’re both good players.

not you, lots of our fans in general pick on the weakest link

I think that the two number 8 positions need strengthening in some form (be that better players replacing existing ones or another option to come in and rotate with them giving more competition)

Thiago, Keita and Henderson have had a tenancy to miss games through injury. Thiago is a quality player but we can't always get him on the pitch, even when he isn't carrying a knock you feel we need to wrap him in cotton wool. Henderson is a great leader and as much as I like him and I don't mean this to sound disrespectful but I feel we are more having him on the pitch for his leadership than his playing ability. Keita is decent enough, this was his best season, but I still feel he has been inconsistent, you see him have a good couple of games and think right that's it that's the player we signed, then he's average or anonymous again for a few games then out of the side.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think he had an ok season, and I hope he builds on it next year. So many false dawns with him.

We do, but "lashing out" come on

Say he's ****e in just in jest, he's a decent enough player. Yeah I don't think him missing a shot suddenly changes people's opinions, you either rate him or you don't. We have had 4 years to make up our mind & people's minds were well made up before that shank. We need better than Hendo, Keita, Ox and Milner in our midfield and I'm sure we will sort that out

I've been very critical of him. Mostly because I thought we were getting a worldie. He isn't that but he's still a good player. Even maybe a good squad player. But in the context of where we are now we need much better as a starter. He will have value for potential buyers and that's maybe why he might leave. Klopp does seem to rate him though

If we want to try to improve, that’s the position where we need to. We have the best keeper, best back 4 and best front 3, in the world. Thiago and Fabinho are both world class when fit. It’s that third spot in midfield where we have a lot of room for improvement.
Sums it up perfectly for me

Won’t be Bissouma as he’s signing for Spurs.
                    Are we winning?

I don't agree that Keita or Henderson are weak links but we are one midfielder away from having the perfect squad.

Agreed, I would really like us to add some goals in there. We don't score enough from Midfield.

Weakest of the 11 - doesn’t make them bad but clearly the weakest of the strongest 11

So if Keita or Henderson, whichever starts, is the weakest in our starting XI, it begs the question as to who is the next weakest player in our best XI?

Diaz or Jota maybe? Depending on which one is seen as a starter.

Speaks volumes about our best starting XI is we are going to be calling players like that our weakest
