The reason we have a great win % when Naby plays is because we beat most teams we play & he doesn't usually start vs the best sides in which we have more of a chance of dropping points. We drew 6 games vs the other 3 top sides, here are Naby's mins vs the best teams in the premier league.

With regards to the ‘toughest games’, we dropped almost as many points to Leicester, Brentford, Brighton and Westham (10) as we did to the rest of the top 6 (12).

Man City also dropped 11 points to teams outside the top 6, only dropping 10 points to teams in the top 6.

When you play the 3 other best sides in the league, there is a far greater chance of losing or dropping points than playing say the 3 worst teams, Norwich, Burnley, Watford .. in which he played every game apart from the Watford home game. So, if Naby played those games vs the 3 best sides in the league, chances are that win rate would be a lot lower. When you play at LFC, your win rate is always going to be high, when you play for LFC vs mostly poorer opposition, your win rate is always going to be high.

Yeah but as already pointed out, we dropped almost as many points to teams outside the top 6 as we did to teams in the top 6. This was the same for Man City.

It's the dropped points against these lesser teams that we often look back on and think 'if only'.

Naby is a good player, but end of the day, whether he or hendo plays, they are the weakest link, if it’s otherwise first 11.

If we want to try to improve, that’s the position where we need to. We have the best keeper, best back 4 and best front 3, in the world. Thiago and Fabinho are both world class when fit. It’s that third spot in midfield where we have a lot of room for improvement.

I think he had an ok season, and I hope he builds on it next year. So many false dawns with him.

he’s probably been the player that I’ve been most pleasantly surprised with. Have to admit, last summer I wanted him and ox booted out, and would have loved us to give gini what was needed, to stay. I think I was right about ox, but naby definitely proved me wrong- He had his best season with us, and hopefully he can keep it up, if he stays injury free.

But as I said above, I think he’s the weakest link (in first 11, not the squad). That’s not having a go at him, it’s just the extremely high standards that we have at the moment- our first 11 has 10 world class players, and naby/hendo.
