Not saying what you have heard isnt true. But id doubt it, especially given that they are 2nd in their CL group and 3rd in the Bundesliga. Wouldn't make sense for them to bring the deal forward.

I hope they can work it out though.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Keita has been grooming the club all season that they can manage without him.
      One tit for another.

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought it myself either (what would Leipzig have to gain by letting him go in Jan? ), but just passing on the info I heard.

Still doesn't solve the defensive issues though...
He wont solve it, doesn't help with height on set pieces etc but he will actually help us quite a bit. He's a freak midfielder and can do everything. I'm still not quite sure how we've managed to pull this off!

And the thing is, he can actually create as well and take players on, was a great coup for us, would have changed a lot for us right now I think, in the absence of Lallana.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It would be a huge boost.

There's something extra exciting about a top class January transfer!

he is certainly a very attack minded player.

all his passes are forward, if there is no pass on he will carry the ball and go past players.

he will certainly show up some of our midfield crabby slouchers
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Unless they want the money early to get his replacements in?

I think the only reason they didn't sell in summer was to save face as they had been so adamant he was staying- like us with Coutinho

January is feasible, as it has give RB ample opportunity to contact likely replacements, so if agreement can be reached between RB and respective clubs, then they may be willing to let Keita join, but it will all hinge on that.

I wonder if Saints will be willing to talk regarding VVD in January too. Would be nice to sort out two troublesome positions come January.

                        That would be simply jizzy.

Be crazy for Keita to leave Liepzig in January, they are flying this season. As regards the defence, it's common knowledge that our defence is so **** so we are going to get screwed over royally on price for any defender we go for IMO.
