She's definitely become that sort. I'd say it's her, Joyce and Bascombe now. The Echo lads seem way out of the picture these days.Originally posted by Alex View PostReddy is a similar sort of unofficial mouthpiece to Bascombe isn't she? Usually what she says comes off in some way. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think Spurs should always be considered a threat. Kanes goals are what I worry about.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostYeah, I don't think we actually need him this season, I think we'll get 4th regardless.
But worth it to have him settled and ready to fire next season.*Except Michael, who died.

Reported fee structure for Keita:
Upfront - £48m
Plus at end of the season:
- Basic - £9m
- Europa Qualification -£14m (5th-6th)
- CL Qualification - £18m (top4)
RBL are sitting in 5th place, 2points behind 2nd place and 2points from 8th.
E20m /= £18m
Is the E15-20m being referred to a suggestion that RBL will accept a deal that basically brings forward the same agreement with an assumption that they finish between Europa/CL positions (RBL being pessimistic)
or
What seems more balanced to me is that.
The existing agreement would apply and an extra £14mil is required based on being 5th atm. (£62m total)
Then an additional E15-20m (£13-18m) on top of that for making it early. i.e. a total fee of roughly £75-80mil Total
Perhaps RBL arguing for the £18mil for CL qualification and then E15-20m on top of that ?
On one hand it seems reasonable in the current context, but considering he had a £48m buy out clause, we've paid a massive premium to secure him early and would be an extortionate one to do it quickly, considering it seems he was always coming here anyway (like VVD who could have gone to somewhere else).Last edited by BillobShaisley; 11-01-18, 02:41 PM."that is my opinion and that is more important than what anyone else has to say about it" - Mr A.Fergusson, Oct 2011

Why are we paying based on how they finish? Shouldn't it be the other way around?Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostI think the point they're making is that he can help them finish in top 4 and we should pay based on top 4 if we're going to take that chance away. Which I think is fair enough really.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Because it's built into the contract that the higher they finish this season the more we pay as he has an increased reputation. Right or wrong is irrelevant if that's what we've signed it's what we've signed.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostWhy are we paying based on how they finish?
