Hopefully he gets a run of games once the league is won and he can come to grips properly with the pace of the game in England...

I remember Linders in an interview mentioned his skill set as fundamentally different to all our other midfielders so I think he will be given every chance

Naby looks like he's suffering a little confidence wise. We are yet to see the marauding runs he used to make on a regular basis at RBL

I like Naby and still haven't give up on him, I love the way he can slalom by players and the way he breaks the lines could be the key to opening up Atletico. I thought he started well enough yesterday and it was his neat interplay with Mo which created the space in the build-up to the 1st goal. Our front 3 were again a little out of sorts and any 1-2s or lay offs which Naby thrives on were too short or overhit.

When West Ham equalised our two modes of attack consisted of the long ball from the back and crosses from the full backs neither method plays to Naby's strengths and he suffered as he is not as aggressive or proactive as Henderson or Gini is blocking the passing the lanes when our attacks break down.

It was not his greatest game but I do still feel he has a lot to offer for the remainder of the season.

Just needs to stay fit from now till the end of the season & get a few matches under his belt. A few goals would do his confidence the world of good.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Yeah, hard not to be disappointed but he’s shown flickers but has been really unlucky with injuries just when he’s been finding form then has to start from scratch again. I guess we have to determine if this “luck” is gonna change so we can properly assess him.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I reckon he could explode into life with a little luck, a big goal that wins a game...something that gives him confidence. But he's running out of opportuntities....

He is turning that number 8 shirt into a **** filled nappy.
No pressure to be gerrard but for £50-60m i fully expect the finished article and the player to be the real deal.
Blighted by injuries, yes, but still has looked a bit flakey.
And now the added burden of a player who will be used by his national team even if he is broken, and afcon coming up this summer...
                  Flop. Sell.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

absolutely no way he leaves imo.

The laptop nerds love him and he is still posting good stats, just doesn't seem to be doing much to naked eye.

He's only just turned 25, we wont get a big fee for him, no one else affordable can do what he potentially can. Zero upside in selling him.

He might come good, he might not but I think the club will have patience with him.

With Lallana off, and probably Lovren too, the next scapegoat has been identified and is now being led to the sacrificial table.
                      Oh I don't know.

Well, not if karius comes back...

I think he'll find somewhere else tbh.

That would explain his conservative passing, but he's confident enough to run with the ball and have a shot, which means it's more likely that he's struggling with the system. IMO

Last night was his first start after a few weeks out and he played in a team which played arguably its worst game of the season. Keep coming.
                              Are we winning?
