I'm not against signing him, he's quality but I'm not sure where he would play in the first team - I'm certain it wouldn't be for the midfield three though.

I'm unsure what you're basing that on. I'll admit he can take up some attacking positions in att. mid and even on the right at times, but he's one of the most natural wingers around. I'm not even talking Salah and Mane who play as inverted wingers, Lemar is a channel, white on his boots style of player.

lemar would be a left winger, but could double as a left mid, the sort of position we prefer to see coutinho in and run from deep.

keita would be one of the two centre mids who can play behind the 10, or in front of a DM, depending on how we go. 1-2, or a 2-1.

I've seen him play wide left, wide right and AM for Monaco/France but predominantly from the left as you say but not a winger.

I think he would be a Phil replacement and would play a few positions including the AM in our 4-3-3 or as a 10 in a 4-2-3-1

OK, so I looked it up. Last year he only played on the left wing. The year before 14 on the left, 14 as an attacking mid, 2 either side of defence as a full back and 4 on the right. But he was only being introduced as a first team player that year and has since nailed the left wing as his own.

Henderson can't cope at times with Wijnaldum and Can, who I see as two center midfielders. He'll certainly not be able to cope with Keita (whom I see as an attacking center midfielder) and a left winger in Lemar.

I'd be open to a formation change to wedge him into the team though. But Klopp is pretty resolute with 433.
