Well I thought it was quite funny, and that's what really counts.

After a very encouraging pre-season I think most of us can agree it was not the start to the season we had envisioned from Naby. My expectations were huge after spending the season beforehand, mulling over his stats and You Tube clips (which were phenomenal) waiting for him to arrive.

For whatever reason, be it lack of English, shyness, he has been poor to date; however, there are definite signs of improvement. In the last two games, he should have won a penalty against Leicester which may have secured 3 points and created a last minute chance for Origi to snatch all 3 points against West Ham (albeit it was offside).

What marks these two incidents out is that I don't believe anyone else in our squad has the skill set to create these chances. That's why I feel we need to persist with him, especially as we will increasingly face more teams sitting deep and narrow. The ability to run with the ball from deep and beat a man one-on-one will be priceless.

I thought he was much better in the second half, nearly set up the winner in the last moment of the game. Needs to improve massively but Firmino on the night was far, far worse but people just cant wait to stick the boot in on the lad.

To be fair, I did only watch the second half (due to circumstances out of my control)

I think if Naby keeps playing and gets confident he could be awesome as an attacking midfielder. But I don't seem him as the last midfielder protecting the defence...he takes too many risks.

Clearly not good enough for us. He's awful.

No, he's trying to be sarcastic and clever

If Naby starts performing we'll ALL be over the moon, but it's fair enough to point out when a player isn't doing it, except Fredo doesn't think it is

That midfield trio are very different and I think it will work much better than with similar players as with the Hendo/Gini/Milner combo. I hope it works, we'll have sterner tests than BMouth though

Probably his best game for us so far. That pass for the third to Firmino was sublime.

He was very good today as was the whole midfield. Hopefully he continues with this form
