A good stepping stone for him, poor opposition but a confidence builder
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Yeah, he was a close second. Definitely deserves credit. Naby just affected the game more. Goal + assist.

He did get caught on the ball twice though so as you say improvements to come but given its his first game in ages it was very impressive. I'd love to see him push on.

Milner was also class today. Great in the middle and effortlessly moved to LB. What an asset to have.

Salah was great today. Unselfish, unplayable.

MOTM for me today just pipping Hendo Who was fantastic too. Naby looked like Coutinho dripping past players effortlessly at times today. Just need to keep him fit.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He was brilliant yesterday, he always passes into the space in front of the player so they can run on to it, he can make half a yard of space with a feint and his reading of play when making interceptions is fantastic.

He’s had recovery time now so if we can keep him fit until the rest of the season I think he will cement one of the midfielder spots with Fabinho + 1 more. There isn’t another player in the squad that can do what he does

More of the same please Naby

We used to say the same about Lallana

his involvement in the 2 goals was good, but given how Bournemouth sat off not sure you can take much else from it given he had 10-15 yards of space every time he got the ball.

he'd absolutely tear up a slow paced league

Bournemouth were ****e, there is no doubt about that and it was a nice game for him to ease his way back in. I still think he has the tools in his game that none of other midfielders have - I just hope he stays fit and gets a consistent run of games......we have plenty coming up

That's what we want to see from him, snappy passing in possession and progressive runs forwards. Don't care if it's poor opposition, you can only play who is in front of you. He will get is chance over the next month or so and he has to take it.

Having a fit Ox and Naby means Hendo/Gini can play in Fab’s position while he’s out. Nice. Millie is still playing well too, so midfield is good.

Yep - there is enough poor opposition in the league who park the bus vs us where we need his guile in midfield. We have a great squad when everyone is fit and enough variety that we can mix it up depending on opposition- a horses for courses approach

Naby Keita was recently surprised to learn that he holds a Premier League record.

No player has been involved in more games without ever being on the losing side. It’s now 28 matches and counting after Saturday’s thumping of Bournemouth.
                              GOAT.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
