i'd let mo and maybe bobby run down their contracts. mane and keita would be free to leave if i were in charge. i've said what i think about keita elsewhere. with mane, i think his head's been turned. if that's the case, there's a the door, as it should be at lfc. doesn't take away what he's done for us, fair enough if a player wants a new challenge after giving so much.

I think that's what will happen with Mane, Salah and Firmino.
Keita I'm not sure about, personally I let him go if there is really a £50m offer on the table, but I think he might be the most likely to sign a new contractThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

I think given who we have available now, it would be a mistake to let Keita go. But if we're selling because we have a first teamer in mind instead, his value is perhaps too high to be backup. That said, Thiago isn't the most available of midfielders, so we're almost certainly always going to need someone to play when he doesn'tI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

He is currently 4th choice in midfield after Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago, surely we have to be looking to bring in a new midfielder who should be ahead of him in the pecking order. Given that he is in the last year of his contract if there is an ~£50m offer on the table IMO we'd be mad not to take it. IMO the only reasons not to take it are that Klopp believes that he will 1) sign a new contract and 2) improve and displace one of the others from the side, but given he has been here for 4 years and never been a regular IMO that seems unlikely. He's 3 or 4 years younger than Henderson and Thiago but that doesn't count for much unless we are signing him up to a long term contract. IMO £50m seems too good to turn down. It should go a good way to bringing in someone better.I think given who we have available now, it would be a mistake to let Keita go. Elliot started the season in midfield and it wouldn't surprise me if he does again and Hendo is fourth choice. He is currently 4th choice in midfield after Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago, surely we have to be looking to bring in a new midfielder who should be ahead of him in the pecking order. That said I think there's going to be enough upheaval in the squad this summer so I can live with Keita being filler for another few years.Comment

If he wants to sign a new contract and is happy to be a squad player that is fine, but he has 1 year left on his current contract. I am not convinced that 1) the club would offer him a contract and 2) if they did I'm not sure he would sign if he's 4th/5th choice. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Naby Keita
It’s boring but, I don’t understand why you (and others) consider that he is playing within our system, with a specific role to do. Therefore, he won’t play the same way with his national team. Thought you’d have entertained that possibility already. Not rocket science no?Are we winning?Comment

Will you ever just feck off with talking common sense about the player.
Coming on here and making a valid point. Bloody cheek of ya
Keita does not play like the lovechild of Hierro and Souness therefore he is crap or somethng like that.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
