I hope he's not injured, I feel he is contributing well to the team and is starting to become a serious option in midfield.

He's done alright, always said with Ox I like the way he breaks the lines and tries shots outside the box. He probably his to sort his radar out on times and he's not technically great but we need as many bodies fit as possible and Klopp seems to be actively managing certain players which is fantastic if you have options to come in and do a job. Keita and Gomez got mins which was great to see in an easy going game.
We need Bobby back and we need Jones back, by some miracle if we can get most, if not all our lads by for the manic run it will benefit us no end. It seems now that maybe covid might be that only inconvenience for having players out.

Should be nowhere near the front 3. I guess divock being injured left the choices being limited.Originally posted by S-RED View PostFalse 9 does not work for him does it? love him as a player, but not a 9 (false)Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I didn't like him playing there in preseason, I had hoped we were done with that experiment then. Obviously Jota wasn't fit enough to play more than half an hour or so or else he would have started. Not sure why Minamino didn't play there instead of him, If Minamino can't get games when Firmino, Jota and Origi aren't fit to start you wonder where he'll get games.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostShould be nowhere near the front 3. I’m with you Fredo. He was asked to do a job in a position that’s not his best & we got the win. Jota should be right to go & both Bobby & Div aren’t far away either so Ox can go back to the midfield where he’s more suited.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I also think Klopp rewarded him for his recent good form which keeps players motivated

More from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "It has been the best Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain since I have been here.
"I know he has had some spectacular moments. But it is a new quality, calming the game down and being really involved in all the things on the pitch. It is a massive step. I am really happy with him at the moment."Modifying post.
