Yeah - difficult to judge Ox (and Minamino and even Keita) when we've no trophy to play for and the stadiums are empty. We badly need fans and a purpose.

Ox has played a good part this season, and was in decent form pre lockdown. He has been suffering from the general drop off as much as anyone, and should never have to fill in on the wing. Its just not his position.
I guess overall. this is not the ideal period to judge.
I would play Jones for the rest of the season, 2 games, start him in both, we've nothing to lose and he gains experience.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yep I’d agree with that too. He’s looked good the last few matches when he’s played & it sends the right signals to the other youngsters that hard work will be rewarded.Originally posted by Exiled_red View Post

Physioroom have him listed as no return date and the more detail section says he "is obviously in long-term rehab but looks good and is in a good mood usually"Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostHow injured is Ox? The way klopp was talking, it's a long term injury. I just assume he'd miss a month or so. Not the knee again is it?
Doesn't help much but long term rehab sounds like months rather than weeks...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He will play for us again but I think he is proving too injury-prone to be regarded as 'reliable' and might as well be moved out to raise funds for players as good who are more reliable.Originally posted by Norbs View PostSorry
(I think this is a fair comment, but can you imagine what comments like this
might do to the players during the darkness that is a long injury.)
