IMO he will be sold next year. Harsh but we just can't rely on him, like Lallana decent player but always injured or coming back from injury. It's a pity because we don't have many players that drive and break through the lines like him. Unfortunately for Ox, it's been like this his whole career.

Still think he'll be given the season, like Keita, to prove himself. Without fans returning until March (or maybe not even then), we'll need to raise funds to improve the squad further.Originally posted by danperkins View PostIMO he will be sold next year. Although with Wijnaldum going, and possibly Milner (although his contract expires in 2022. Depends if he wants to go to Leeds), it'd leave us with Henderson, Thiago, Jones, and Fabinho (should Klopp move him back to a CM berth).

He's got a fight on his hands to get into the side, also fitness wise I think he'll be brought back slowly, maybe coming off the bench for half an hour or so.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostHe must be in line for a start tomorrow. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah I doubt we’d start him just yet tbh. Off the bench for a few minutes before we step it up for a starting spotOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostHe's got a fight on his hands to get into the side, also fitness wise I think he'll be brought back slowly, maybe coming off the bench for half an hour or so.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. Weirdly he's come back just as Jones is on fire and Keita is back but the midfielders could do with a rest but we do have a week off.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostHe's got a fight on his hands to get into the side, also fitness wise I think he'll be brought back slowly, maybe coming off the bench for half an hour or so.

maybe I don't understand modern tactical football, but I can't help feel that when people like AOC and the Shaq come on as subs with 20 minutes to go, they ought to be capable of exhibiting more energy than those that have been on since the start and should also be burning with a desire to show the boss they should start next time. I just don't see that from AOC any more.
