I doubt he'll beat his scoring record from last season though (19) and offers little else. It'd be a miracle for him to get an assist as that'd mean they'd have 2 players in the opponent's half at the same time. I think he'll cut a frustrated figure there, his heart won't be in it either

Well, if you believe reports, we're looking at Jorginho + a Coutinho replacement.

Whether that Coutinho replacement is more for the wider areas, I'm not sure, because we do need cover there, but if it's for the central areas, I'd feel we would have too many bodies there, even though I'd be glad for a new midfield entirely.

He was decent as was Can - the OX (two capitals now) drove the midfield.

I thought too much of what Henderson tried didn't come off, for the few MOTD highlight passes there were as many that conceded possession too cheaply. AOC is a better shout for MOM.

He attempted more passes than any other midfielder or attacker and with the highest success rate.

Personally I didn't think he was that great, few players stood out TBH, it was just a very professional performance from the team. He certainly contributed though and since he came back into the side (after back to back defeats to Swansea and West Brom) we have been excellent. His thread used to get bumped when he had a good victory and he didn't play. Those people are very quiet now.
