Sure we signed him because he can play lots of positions. I expect most of his starting positions to be on the bench. Right now he's training for the wing, but eventually it will be centre mid and then he'll be able to play most midfield positions. Typical Klopp bench player isn't he?

He needs to work on his passing, it's decidedly erratic at the moment.

That one pass in the inside right channel when he just chipped it out of play, miles from its target, was inexplicably poor.

Happy for him getting his first goal though. Still think he has the tools to become a really effective player for us.

I think I enjoyed his goal more than anyone's because it showed a level of composure in front of the keeper we've been missing and it was his first goal.

I think we needed a spare wide player... never really rated him myself. dont recall him ever having a "good" game, But then I never watched Arsenal that much beyond highlights. Always thought of him as a failed wonderkid. Totally overpriced considering his contract. I think FSG had another brainfart TBH. Id rather have played one of the youth players and whacked it on a centreback.
