boss cameo, kudo' to him for coming on & making a difference

Definitely adds some forward power to the team and has a bit of dribbling skill too.

He was definitely a difference maker, I hope we see similar after 60 against Atletico!

It's more than that for me, when Keita plays everything is short, its neat little passes

Chamberlain is far more aggressive in terms of his passing and he will attempt long raking diagonal balls that switch the play (see the 2nd goal) and he drives at teams with his pace

Our game is so much about switching the play from flank to flank when teams sit deeper. At times (particularly since the break) we are taking too many passes to switch when really we should only be taking one pass

I hope Keita comes through and steps up, he is capable of it, it's also probably good tactically to have two contrasting contributions from those two. You change just one player and all of a sudden the whole approach is different.

There doesn't appear to be room for both of them on the field and, on the basis of this season, that place should go to Ox when he's available.

Keita strikes me a bit like Markovic, not style of play obviously but, for the fact he's just not getting to grips with the PL. He's getting on for being half way through his contract and I'm not sure he'd command more than £30m if sold

No he cant be? Its been 18 months? Did he sign for 4 years?

Ignore me, he signed a 5year deal

I'd like to see him break the lines at pace a bit more, he certainly has it in him.

Talking about Keita btw (in the Ox thread!)

That last night was him at his best for me, he has a great ability to get beyond midfielders and with his pace he is a threat running at defenders also

Its just a pity that he cant play a full 90 minutes, dont know how true it is but heard a whisper they are bringing him off on 70 odd minutes to protect him, I was told the knee injury he had is susceptible to reoccurrence within 18-24 months and part of managing it is not pushing him into the red zone hence why they keep pulling him on 70 odd minutes

Thought he was excellent. The approach to sub him after 70 mins seems sensible.
                      Another MASSIVE game

One of his best performances last night. Seems to have a extra gear at times to power past people.

Can totally get why we take him off as well - no need to risk another bad injury.

So he'll be able to do a full 90 in the 21/22 season?

He was outstanding, pure pace and power and seems the only one in our squad that actually shoots from outside the box.

His first game back was February or March 2019 wasnt it.....

At the start of this season he was only doing 60 minutes and its been going up, thats the longest hes played on Wednesday

That was by far the best he has played for us for sure, looked an absolute beast. Thomas Partey is a quality player and Ox gave him an awful time. Whether his legs can take regular 90 mins of football is another story.
