The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think all the seniors struggled last night - it must have felt like a free hit. Even Millie looked like he wasn't focussed.

Starting to show real glimpses of the player we were starting to see real glimpses of before his injury.

            A couple of bursts through.

            His speed of passing...

He can get better but his last few weeks have been encouraging.

            I’d start him v City.

Him and Salah seem to be on the same wavelength

I'd keep him as an impact sub for Sunday.

He said himself he's not where wants to be yet and we need everyone firing on all cylinders.
                Oh I don't know.

He brings an X factor from the midfield which none of our other players have + he can drive past players and he scores goals. I saw a stat where we have won all the games vs City where he has started and not won any of the ones he didn’t.......that in itself must be worth a start

He loves thundercunting it into the net

That's quite a small number of games to retrieve that stat I'm guessing

                        all about narrative

7 games I think - won 3 where he started (4-3 league and home and away in champions league), lost 2 ( away in the league the last 2 seasons), 2 draws ( charity shield + home league game last season)

Considering his lengthy lay off, he's played quite a lot against them

Watching last night I was wondering just how good he might be now if he hadn't been injured.

I think we'll find out in the coming months.

I reckon he would be one of the three with Fabinho and Gini if he stayed fit.
