    I'd have him back absolutely.

It will really take Barca down a peg or two if he was to re-sign for less than half the fee.

He'd be incredible at the top of a midfield 3 with Fabinho and Wijnaldum.

    Can cover the LW too.

    60% is literally a fraction

It won't be a fraction, if it's more than 60% of what we sold him for then it's too much

Bring him back, its absolute nonsense to proclaim he wouldn't fit in with us now. He made us a hell of a lot of money that paid for Virgil, and if we got him back for a fraction, everyone's a winner. I'd hate to see him waste his talent at some no mark club like Chelsea.

I wonder where we'd be if we'd had the prissiness that goes hand in hand with perpetual media now back when Rush left.

Imagine the opprobrium now across the bollocks ****tersphere if we had it when Souness left, or Barnes saying he'd like to play abroad. Its all a bit childish.

Almost felt sorry for him for a second then laughed my socks off.

No number, no position and no home. The grass isn't always greener.

If he'd never been here before, would we give him a second thought as a new signing?

And then there's the going on strike. For the sort of money Barca will want there's better players and much better value.

No need to close the thread, just keep on topic "Post LFC"

I dunno, I'd take him back if there was no-one else. But he'd have to agree to a public flogging before his first match.

Or we could hang him in a cage for a month above the kop before welcoming him back as a lesson to others.

He looked ok in flashes in the copa america final. But, I'd only take him back if he agreed to the above and we got him for a drastically reduced rate.
