**** him. We are infinately better without him
We're obviously better because of Van Dijk, Alisson and Fabinho, not because of him not being here. Even Robertson only started getting games in December before Coutinho left. Our midfield still cries for a creative player with lots of end product, and that's exactly what Coutinho was for us. He was honestly worth £140m here.

As for the bad back thing, I hate him for it and it's why I don't want us to sign him. But the truth is we have signed or tried to sign a few players with bad backs over the years and nobody cared. One and only single difference between them and Coutinho is that they haven't done it to us, but they're the same people.

He'd play less than before, cos we're more solid and more productive points / wins wise without him, but if he did come back he'd slot straight back in, no upheaval or dramas, everyone knows him, he's well liked, he knows us and how we play etc.

I'm not normally big on 'going back' but I think I'd prefer him than gambling on someone like Bruno Fernandes or whoever. Could be a seamless move, and it's easy to forget how good he was for us.

I think for £70m and coming in as primarily an attacking midfielder and as an back up to Mane on the left from time to time it's a good option. I don't really like him as one of the forwards but playing an attacking midfield role playing through balls to Mane and Salah would be great, not to mention the ability to add goals from outside the box.

Unfortunately I think that he would go for over £70m probably to PSG or Chelsea/Man Utd

The fact that he's a sleazy liar rat is more of a problem though. Don't know if we could trust him not to pull the same **** and try to force a move to City or whatever two years after his return.

But we've been after quite a few players who've done the same to other clubs, so...

Buy for £8m, sell for £140m, buy for £70m, sell for £140m

    He's a cash cow

A three toed sloth is more dynamic than Coutinho. Ok, he offers something from free kicks but we are well covered in that area

I'd rather we went for Fekir again, despite his dodgy knee.
