Nope. I hope he goes to PSG or Juventus.

That doesn't normally stop us why should this be any different?

I don't think he will think that, I think he loves him

However, I think he has a track record of not buying players he's already managed? On that basis I'd agree that it's a very unlikely scenario whatever Klopp thinks of him.

As for the bad back thing, I hate him for it and it's why I don't want us to sign him. But the truth is we have signed or tried to sign a few players with bad backs over the years and nobody cared. One and only single difference between them and Coutinho is that they haven't done it to us, but they're the same people.

    This.

As for the bad back - he played brilliantly for us after the transfer window and we have no idea how the 'bad' back thing happened. It might have been the club as much as him to get him out of the limelight and to give him time to clear his head and come to terms with the fact he wasn't going to get the move of his dreams.

I think everyone is really making too much of it.

From what I remember VD actually refused to play for Southampton and then played **** and let's not forget we made an illegal approach to him which is why we backed off.

Coutinho gave us many years of great service and I'd have him back if Klopp thinks he can improve the team and he wants to come back.

Definitely a large dose of revisionism at play here.
The bad back syndrome has cashed in any credit he might have had
Of course klopp was upset to lose him as he was an alternative for us, but luckily mane stayed fit.
With mane staying fit then coutinho would have been our left sided of the two midfielders, with fabinho behind. I think coutinho would have offered more goals than Wijnaldum, but maybe not the consistent work rate that is key to our game.

He wanted to leave to go and play in the sun so he isnt coming back here, thats for sure. Early june and i had to put the central heating on for an hour a couple of nights ago

he does have plenty of quality but these issues limit his suitability for us and it wouldn't be a good use of 70-100m quid.

If you just look at Coutinho in isolation, forget the other players coming in

Coutinho always needed too much time on the ball
Coutinho always slowed down our counter attacks
Coutinho did not have the engine or the work ethic to function as a pressing player

These are the main reasons we are better without him

Been thinking about this and we need a top player to rotate with Firmino/Mane more importantly than Mane/LCM

So for me, the ideal player would be Timo Werner.

I get the hate for him for sure but we need another Midfielder / attacking player and dont see anyone who is as good as him

IF Klopp wants him then am happy for it to happen, If he wants another player will be happy as well.
