After what happened to Torres he'd be brave to go there

I'm glad it worked out for him in Barcelona, Klopp treated him awfully and he only wanted to move because his family couldn't settle in England.

I dunno, may be revisionism, but think only reason he was so good with us is that we set-up for him. We actually had better stats when he was out of the team.

Immensely talented player, with the odd moment of sublime brilliance, but very wasteful.

I hope I'm right anyways if he goes to chavs. I'm glad hazards gone anyways as I reckon he'd have linked up really well with him.

It's revisionism, he was and is undoubtedly a class player who at times dragged Liverpool through games when the team was pretty mediocre.

It just didn't work for him at Barca. Bayern were never going to pay over 100 mil for him. He had some outstanding performances for them though.

I think unfortunately he will improve Chelsea greatly. Good luck to him, he was a joy to watch.

The Toffees have made a loan move for Barca's Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho, 27. (Sport - in Spanish)

I've got a gut feeling that we'll re-sign him when the window opens again.

What other gut feelings have you had?

I hope Van Dijk ****s him in the same way Agger ****ted Torres on his return to Anfield.

Bump, can't help but think back to jurgens words; stay & they will build a statue.

He must be gutted to have missed out on this, as without a doubt Klopp would have made him an absolute superstar.

That's a feeling of regret that's never going to go away, as least in this lifetime.

Only really Mcmanaman, Suarez, Alonso and Mascherano who went on to better things.

And Alonso was punted out the door.
